This month's newsletter celebrates NAIF's third anniversary. The newsletter also profiles the Genex Kidston Power Hydro project following the announcement of support from the NAIF for a $610 million loan. The project is forecast to deliver $814m of public benefit. $235 million of forecast value add will be for the Far North Queensland economy which arises from 510 jobs which will be created during the construction phase of the project and the supporting transmission line, and approximately 30 jobs during operations. The NAIF Board also welcomes two new Board members, Kate George from Western Australia and Belinda Murphy from Queensland.
